Our Guarantee

At J's 3D Printing, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you're not satisfied with your order, please review our policy below.

Custom Products

Important: Due to the custom nature of 3D printed products, all sales are final unless the product is defective or damaged.

Because each product is made-to-order specifically for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Custom colors or finishes
  • Personalized items (names, photos, etc.)
  • Custom designs created from your specifications
  • Modified or altered products
  • Products printed from customer-supplied files

Defective Products

If your product arrives with a manufacturing defect:

  1. Contact us within 14 days of delivery
  2. Provide photos clearly showing the defect
  3. We will review and respond within 2 business days

Approved defects will be resolved by:

  • Replacement of the same product (free)
  • Store credit for the purchase amount
  • Full refund to original payment method

Defects include layer separation, incomplete prints, structural failures, or significant surface artifacts that affect functionality or appearance.

Damaged in Shipping

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Do not throw away packaging - we need it for the carrier claim
  2. Take photos of the damaged package and product
  3. Contact us within 48 hours at support@js3dprinting.com
  4. We will file a claim with the carrier and replace your order

Wrong Item Received

If we sent you the wrong item:

  1. Contact us immediately
  2. We will send the correct item at no charge
  3. We'll provide a prepaid label for returning the wrong item
  4. No additional shipping charges

Print Quality Concerns

3D printing can result in minor variations. The following are not considered defects:

  • Visible layer lines (normal for FDM printing)
  • Minor surface texture variations
  • Slight color variations between batches
  • Support marks that have been properly removed
  • Minor dimensional variations (within ±0.5mm)

We do consider defects:

  • Layer separation or splitting
  • Large gaps or holes not part of the design
  • Significant warping affecting function
  • Wrong color (if you specified one)
  • Missing parts of a multi-part order

Order Cancellations

Before printing starts: Full refund available within 2 hours of order placement.

After printing starts: No cancellation or refund. The product is already being made specifically for you.

Digital Products

For digital products (STL files, designs, etc.):

  • No refunds after download link has been sent
  • If file is corrupt or unusable, we will provide a corrected version
  • Licensing issues are handled case-by-case

Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days to appear
  • Debit card refunds: 5-10 business days
  • Store credit: Available within 24 hours

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you want a different product:

  1. Request a refund for your original order (if eligible)
  2. Place a new order for the desired product

For simple changes like color swaps on non-custom items, contact us before the order ships.
